The Lastest on COVID-19

Dear Parents, Students and Community Members,
This is a very difficult time we are living in. I want to thank you all for the support and encouragement that we have received as we try to fulfill our mission to provide a great education to our community. I would also like to ensure you that even though our schools have physically closed, we will not stop providing services. The Governor's order to stay at home does not affect our mandate to provide the essential service of public education. Here are two important announcements:
We will continue to provide breakfast and lunch at no charge to all children 2 - 18 during school closure. The schedule is as follows:
  • Elementary school from 8:00am -11:00am
  • Ocotillo Wells (Oasis) at 10:00am
  • El Rancho at 10:30am
  • Santiago Estates at 11:00am
We are re-opening all classes through distance learning starting April 1st. Teachers and staff will be reaching out to you to set up online and/or other learning options. You may receive materials distributed straight to your homes. Please continue to check your emails for further information.

We are Borrego Springs Unified School District. As a small school and caring community, we work together to provide every single student a diverse and academically rich education. We aspire to produce graduates who have their own visions for the future, armed with strong values and the tools for success in college, career, family and community life
